India's tours to Sri Lanka so far
After the debacle in Colombo, Virender Sehwag led the Indian assault in Galle with an unbeaten double hundred in the first innings. Although the Indian middle order failed to lend support to him, the opening duo of Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir had already done the damage to the hosts. In reply, Sri Lankans failed to resist Harbhajan Singh who claimed six for 102 as India registered a lead of 37 runs. His skipper Anil Kumble scalped three.
