Chuck de India

Many Indian cricketers had to pay price for suspect bowling action both in domestic and in international cricket. The latest victim is Venugopal Rao, the middle order batsman from Tamil Nadu who fought a lone battle in the recently held Indian Premier League for the Deccan Chargers. Rao, an off spinner, has played 16 ODIs so far, but never got an opportunity to bowl. Now that the Indian cricket board has compiled a list of 20 bowlers with suspect actions who underwent a rectification programme at the National Cricket Academy, Cricketnext goes back to the past to find out the Indian cricketers who fell victims to the action, someway or the other.
