Mumbai: Aussie opener Matthew Hayden is considered as one of the most destructive opening batsmen in world cricket and former Indian seamer and the present bowling coach of the national team Venkatesh Prasad wants his bowlers to get him as early as possible.

"Matthew Hayden has been a consistent scorer on Indian wickets. Hence, it is very important for us to get him out as early as possible in the forthcoming Test series against Australia," Prasad has been quoted as saying in The Times of India.

"Hayden is the man the Indians needs to watch out for. Our bowlers have to get Hayden early because he is a kind of batsman who has scored all over the world. He has got lots of runs in the sub-continent and so his wicket will be important," Prasad added.

Hayden has an incredible average of 61.00 on Indian soil from seven Test matches for a total of 793 runs.
