Chetan haha it''s quite laughable that mumble is considered the met lethal. Yes he has 500 odd wickets but look at how much those wickets cost him over 28 a piece where as truly great bowlers take them at around 23. And look at how many balls he has to bowl for his wickets, add that to the fact that ind play most of their games on spinners tracks it shows how over rated he is as a bowler and tbh he is a poor captain, reactive rather than proactive

Murali and mendis will be bigger threat in this series. Mendis will fade in a couple of seasons as his variations will be worked out and he isn''t a big turner, temp shock value that''s all. Bhajji will be most threatening for ind but that''s not saying much. Indian spinners don''t turn the ball enough, they are all rollers, Inc chawla. Intact the bigest spinner of the ball that India have prob ever had is sachin, now that is saying g something about how good Indian spinners are.

India better off picking 3 quicks and bhajji. Get rid of kuMble, laxman and dravid should retire soon as well. Time to give the likes of rohit a chance ( Posted: Friday , July 25, 2008 at 22:43 )
