New Delhi: The Indian Cricket League officials on Tuesday met with the International Cricket Council President David Morgan to discuss their 'rebel' status in London.

"The ICL had written to the ICC requesting a meeting and today that meeting took place," Morgan confirmed in a statement by the ICC.

"I will now report back the contents of the meeting to the ICC Board, which is gathering in Dubai on October 14 and 15," he added.

The meeting took place in a cordial manner and Chandra thanked Mr Morgan and the other members of his group (David Becker, ICC Head of Legal, and Jonathan Taylor of the international law firm of Bird and Bird) for attending, the statement added.

ICL's Subhash Chandra added that his hope that when Morgan presented to the ICC Board it could find a resolution to the matter.

The statement further added that "the ICC will make no further comment on this matter ahead of the proposed Board meeting."
