New Delhi: England captain Andrew Flintoff seems very confident coming back from his injury and is looking forward to the matches ahead.

He hasn't ruled out bowling in the Champions Trophy in India when he makes his comeback after the ankle operation which pulled him out of cricket temporarily.

Flintoff, who will lead his country at the Champions Trophy and on the Ashes tour of Australia, has not played since the third Test against Sri Lanka in June. He said the Ashes series opening in Brisbane on November 23 will probably be the biggest ever.

Speaking before a signing session of his new book Freddie My World, Flintoff said he was confident his ankle would stand up to the rigours of the tournaments ahead.

"The operation which was performed was successful, and something that was needed. So going into the Test series, my ankle and my body are as fit as they have been before, probably ever. So I'm confident I'll be fine for the Ashes, the VB Series (One-Day matches against Australia and New Zealand) and the World Cup after that," said Flintoff.
