New Delhi: One-Day world champions Australia play Sri Lanka in a rematch of the World Cup final in their Group F Super Eight match at the Newlands in Cape Town on Thursday.

The match is a must-win for both the teams as only one of them can go into the last four.

Australia are already without their skipper Ricky Ponting who has been ruled out of the tournament due to a hamstring injury with all-rounder Shane Watson expected to play his first game of the Twenty20 World Championship.

Ponting, who suffered the injury in his team's six-wicket loss to Pakistan, may also miss Australia tour to India where they are scheduled to play a seven-match One-Day series starting September 29.

Watson, too, was out of the team duo to a hamstring strain but has been cleared to play by team physio Alex Kountouris.

Pakistan, already in the semi-finals, face Bangladesh in another Group F match while South Africa play India in Durban in the last game of the Super Eight stage.
