MANIMOZHIAN, TAMILNAD, INDIA No matter who retires or not. The question is performing to the himalayan heights when the team is in the dead end. I appreciate dhoni making himself not available in the just concluded lankan test series. I ASK MASTERS OF THE GAME DO THE SAME WHEN THEY THEMSELVES FEEL NOT O.K. ; and when a questions hang in their own minds about their own recent performances. Dont answer the PRESS PEOPLE ; ANSWER YOUR HEART FIRST. ( Posted: Sunday , September 14, 2008 at 17:03 )

Hari I have "heard" of Kapil Dev being talked about as a great bowler but there are only two things I remember about him. Azhar bringing him on when the tail comes in so that he could beat hadlees record and Srinath waiting in the wings which he and Prabhakar played.

I admire what the fab four has done till today..i will admire them even more if they agreed to a clearly chalked out phase-out plan. We need to immediately bring in one young middle order bat and another one in 6 months. Saurav has to go first, followed by Dravid and Tendulkar. Laxman should be the only one staying on beyond 12 months. Its the duty of the Indian selectors to sit down and plan the exit of these senior cricketers and make sure that they get a proper send-off that they deserve.
