The TOSS fetched the Idea Cup for India. They should present bunch of flowers to Mr. Misbah-u-Haq for the genrosity which he showed while playing that sick shot in t20 final which bought India the world cup. It was just a dream, I still cannot believe that India won the t20 world cup, bcoz apart from few good spells from the bowlers and few good knocks from the batsman, there was nothing much to cheer about our Indian team then. Remember the 6 sixes against England, even that match was not ours, only the sixes made the difference, it was a close contest. Think about the matches vs AUS & SA. India did not win those matches but AUS & SA lost the match. It was only the luck and a little bit of self confidence of Dhoni which won India the t20 world cup. Nothing else dears to cheer about. Now since Dhoni is winning, people will praise him. Wait for the losses and bad phases then lets see what the public comments are then. I m sure then, this only public will pull Doni`s legs. Its really sorry, but this is the way cricket goes on.

ON T20 world cup, India never bated second in any matched allways we bated first and won the matches.. If i remember fine we have bated second against NZ but we lost very bad.. so it is just a lucky T20 win for india and nothing more than that.. Australai or Soth Africa should have won as they had better team to win.. Where is Joginder now??? Funny Dhoni always said Joginder is the right choise to bowl the last over as he has no phase in hos bowling, but where he is now?? Dhoni forgot him??

I agree with your comments. I want to make some clarification here regarding this so called young brigade. I just cannot understand the mentality of the media and the public. I am really sorry to say that the memory of Indian public is very short lived. There was a time when the public used to praise the Fab-Four but now the days are gone. Thanks to the bang-bang t20. I am really surprised by the public view about the Fab-Four. Please greet them with respect which they thoroughly deserve. There was a time when Dravid was the WALL and now these people want to demolish him by throwing him out of the ODI team. The test series ended in a defeat for u, but how can they just forget the just concluded the Australian series down under. I am really shocked. Beleive me, these bits and pieces of the young brigade can never ever step in the big shoes. I just feel that only Rohit Sharma can fill the gap some what. Otherwise these, Rainas, Badrinaths, Virats and even Gambhir they cannot fufill the expectations. These youths must thank the t20 for the situation which they are in and the seniors which are out vice-versa.

I entirely agree with Krishan. It is the toss that fetched India the Idea cup.If India had lost the toss in one more match the outcome of the series would have been entirely different. They could never have faced Mendis, Murali and company which is quite evident from the last and the final one dayer. So let''s wake up to reality and stop treating these cricketeers like GOD.

when india lost the asia cup final did any one asked whether dhoni is the best ever captain produced by india.you people always ignore facts and too immotional most times.remeber not too long a ago security has to be inreased near dhoni''s house after the early world cup exit.remeber india won 2/3/4 ODI because they won the toss,if had sri lanka won it ,just look at 5thODI more than 100 runs or 1st ODI(when dhoni took the wrong decision ,8 wicks). If You loose the next series same guys who are praising Dhoni now will burn his house.wake up to the reality it is the toss that brought you Idea cup not dhoni.

U R 100 % right Mr.Krishan. I don''t know why these people praise Dhoni a lot and just keep him in their head. Just think about the celebrations of the last day match. He won the man of the series and the car. Every body climbed on it and just shouting. Did they won the World cup? Just winning the series 3-2. And all that 3 wons came only because of winning the toss. See that last 5th ODI. They chased very poorly and lost their game in a insulting way. But did they feel for that loss? Never, and just enjoyed that they won the series. What Dhoni did on that last match. They were 70-3 at one stage before the rain. And were all out for 103. Is it a good cricket? If we ask about dhoni''s batting in that 5th match then every one will say that how can a player play good in all the matches? See Mr. Yuvaraj Singh. He batted terrific in the practice match. But where that skill went when he played in the series. If No mendis & Murali then he can play very very good. And if it is so, then he can play in the ranji trophy itself. Not in the India team. I think that Yuvi has only enough time to attend the late night parties & roam around with Deepika, Bipahsa , etc..

One thing that is not noticed is that the 2nd , 3rd and 4th matches were almost down to the wire. The 1st and last match has the team winning with a BIG Margin. When Sri Lanka wins they win with a Big Margin and lose with a small margin.

T 20 format? this will be crab...i think in 10 overs you can''t get that excitement, and if the game is made for 10 hours then no need to have 11 players.

How important the role of a captain is , has been proved by Dhoni, on the one hnd we saw Kumble leading the test match side with top class batsman and loosing because of poor handling of Mandis and on the other hand Dhoni shown and taught his team how to play Mendis. The diffrence is under Dhoni a team playes for the country whereas under other captains the star plays for their individuallaty.

What happened Mr.Jha... you are not pitching for your beloved Ganguly''s addition to the team? Your article looks incomplete without a reference to Ganguly.

Cut the crap RSR. Why do you bother to read these articles if you dont like it? Make no mistake, though he does go over board at times, he does call a spade a spade. Also ganguly is Ganguly, you cant help liking him. So go get a life man.

They can as well have a seperate T20 olympics and play it throughout the year or play it like Davis cup''over some fixed period. Many countries will take part and nobody can say no to their participation. Yes, if USA takes to this sport esrnestly they will simply blow the others, including Aussies, away.
